- Prepare 2 cups Biriyani Rice
- Prepare 1/2 kg Mince meat

- Boil 4 cups of water in a heavy sufuria or non-stick pot.
- Add the 2 cups of rice, a teaspoon of salt, & 2 table spoons of oil,& freshly grated coconut.
- Bring to boil & let it cook evenly spreading with a fork & turn down the heat to allow by it to dry while covered.
- In another heavy sufuria/ non- stick pot, pour 3 table spoons of oil & add in chopped onions.
- Fry the onions till brown,then add in chopped tomatoes, cook till they form a paste, then add in the meat.
- Keep stirring for about 10 minutes so that it doesn't form lumps, & it turns colour.
- Add grated carrots, the pre boiled peas, the seasoning & a pinch of salt, let it cook for about 5 minutes.
- Serve while hot.
