1. Wash the potatoes and put them in the cooking pot put on the stove to boil until soft. When well cooked set them aside to cool then peel them
2. Put the minced meat in a cooking pot add in the chopped coriander leaves, cumin seeds, black pepper, lemon juice from the lemon and salt 1/2 tsp add a 1/4 cup water and put on stove to boil until all the water is drained
3. After peeling the potatoes put them in a bowl and mash them. By this time your meat is cooked set it aside to cool
4. With your hands take some of the mashed potatoes and make a ball. Then make a whole in between and put some of the meat inside and cover the meat with potatoes making a ball almost oval shaped and set aside repeat until you finish the rest
5. Put the oil on the stove to heat (for shallow frying) and beat the eggs in a bowl. Egg wash the katlesi in the eggs and put one by one to cook in the heated oil for desired results
6. Put one katlesi at a time in the oil to cook when one side has browed nicely turn gently the other side when both sides are done remove from oil and set it aside on a towel to drain excess oil and repeat with the rest until done cooking.
